Al-Ramz real estate company -one of the biggest real estate companies in Saudi Arabia- announced a mutual investment memorandum with Watheeq proptech venture fund which is MENA’s first Proptech venture specializing in supporting technologies for real estate sector. In Riyadh, the announcement came into light in the signing ceremony held in Al-Ramz real estate company’s headquarters. Both parties’ teams attended where Eng. Haroun Al-Rasheed Al-Ramz’s CEO and Mr. Khalid Zaidan Watheeq proptech venture fund’s administrative partner signed the agreement. This agreement between both parties is pivotal one which target investing in tech startups in Saudi Arabia which supports real estate sector with various assets through all real estate’s life stages. All these new work models and technologies aim to facilitate real estate development and accelerating real estate life stage accordingly. It starts with the search process phase on real estate and its funding, then construction phase, and finally sale and rental phase. Al-Ramz company will make efforts towards providing all support for helping and developing the startups that the fund will invest in. Eng. Haroun Al-Rasheed elaborated about how the agreement is a pivotal step for the company and its scope in Saudi Arabia with its main goal to invest in Watheeq proptech venture fund in order to enhancing customer experience in real estate sector through providing technological solutions by the fund to the startups which will enhance and the customer experience in this sector though all real estate’s life stages. From his side, Mr. Khalid Zaidan Watheeq proptech venture fund’s administrative partner expressed his happiness about the signing of the agreement between the fund and Al-Ramz company which will support the kingdom’s direction towards providing smart and low-price housing units through new housing technologies, increasing housing units’ quality and enhancing environment friendly lifestyle. He added that Watheeq company for financial services’ work team “Fund Manager” targeted through establishing the fund linking all parties and new tech startups in the kingdom, and he elaborated that this agreement with Al-Ramz company will be a great opportunity for the fund’s companies because it will be supported by a big, sizable and with well-known expertise real estate company like Al-Ramz in real estate development sector.
